SERVICES
iPSEITY's clinical services provide culturally competent, client-focused interventions. Our philosophy is grounded in social cognitive theory, which states that our beliefs about ourselves are aquired and modified by the things we do, the people we interact with, and the way these behaviors and interactions make us feel.
Employee Assistance (EAP)
Open to all clients, adolescent, young or mature adults covered by Workplace Options, CCA Behavioral Health, or Carelon Behavioral Health. Dr. Townsel has extensive experience working with clients suffering from anxiety disorders, anger problems, trauma histories, adjustment disorders or mood disorders. Assessment includes validated measurement in relevant personal and social domains.
Individual/Family Counseling
Interventions are individually designed to promote prosocial development and protective attachments. Specific attention is paid to contextual risk and supportive factors relevant to an individual's environment. Dr. Townsel has extensive history working with adults, families, and youth.
Re-Entry
Counseling
In addition to individual therapy, a case management approach is employed to connect clients with service systems designed to effectively address their needs. Advocacy efforts include addressing system bias and the disparate treatment of the poor, racial minorities, and women.

Telehealth
Research indicates that specific attitudes related to identity are associated with an individual's confidence in career success. Clients will undergo validated assessment to measure these attitudes and participate in developing their own career plan. Therpeutic interventions are employed to moderate unproductive attitudes.
Dr. Townsel's experience includes program development and implementation in educational, outpatient, inpatient, home-based and correctional settings. He has developed and delivered seminars on several clinical topics and is a regular presenter for the Greater Cincinnati Training Consortium.
Individual counseling services are provided primarily through the use of virtual technology. Clients will connect securely online and receive counseling via face-to-face internet technology or telephone. On site space is available for large group, seminars, or other special events.
